Rohto Mentholatum Melano CC Essence is an effective Japanese essence for combating age spots, post-acne and uneven skin tone. It contains pure ascorbic acid (vitamin C), which brightens dark spots and gives the skin a fresh look. Vitamin E enhances the antioxidant effect, and licorice root extract and O-cymen-5-ol help reduce inflammation and soothe irritation.

The formula has a light, slightly oily texture that absorbs quickly without stickiness. It is mineral oil-free and won't clog pores.

1. It is recommended to apply the essence 1–2 times a day after toner. It is most often used in the evening; if used in the morning, be sure to apply a cream with SPF on top.
   
2. Spot application: Squeeze 1 drop of essence and apply directly to the pigment spot or rash. Massage lightly with your fingertip to ensure that the product is absorbed into the area.
   
3. General application: If needed, squeeze 3-4 drops of Melano CC into the palm of your hand and use your fingertips to spread a thin layer over your entire face. Avoid the delicate skin around the eyes.
   
4. Let the product sit for 1–2 minutes. It may leave a slight shine, but it is not sticky. Follow with a moisturizer to lock in the active ingredients.
   

Note: For sensitive skin or when first introducing vitamin C, start by applying every 2 days to allow skin to adapt, then gradually increase frequency to daily. If you experience a slight tingling sensation, this is normal; if you experience severe burning or redness, rinse off and discontinue use.
